Chesterfield make the long trip to Exeter on Tuesday, but it could be fruitless in our view, as they run into a side who look to have rediscovered their form just in time ahead of the play-offs.

The Grecians have built their season upon excellent form at St James' Park, winning 13 of their 20 games at home, and recent results have been back to what they needed with four wins from their last six. Admitedly, those wins have come against relatively ordinary sides Cambridge, Port Vale, Swindon and Cheltenham, but they also took a strong point at leaders Accrington on Saturday.
Chesterfield have now lost eight of their last 12, and while we cannot suggest they will lack motivation in this one, they do need that motivation based on a season of poor performances. Just a solitary point from a trio of trips to Grimsby, Port Vale and Morecambe may very well have sealed their fate, although they do still go to Forest Green and Barnet, which could give them a sliver of hope.
Back Exeter here is the advice with 11/10 available.
