One team who made it onto our "On the Beach" list were Nottingham Forest, whose late efforts to beat Ipswich last weekend ensured another season in the Championship could be assured. Prior to that win against the managerless outfit, Forest had gone six without a win, and have now failed to score in six of their last seven away matches. They go to Cardiff on Saturday night.

Neil Warnock's side shouldn't struggle to get up for this one, and it's exactly the sort of occasion that Warnock relishes - under lights, live on Sky. He will love it. With Cardiff knocked out of the automatic spots, at least temporarily, by Fulham's win on Friday this should be a great match. The Bluebirds have already won 15 times at home this season, and prior to their defeat to Wolves a fortnight ago, they had won six on the spin at their own place.

Forest have lost away games by more than the odd goal to Sheffield Wednesday, Chelsea, Derby, Reading, Ipswich, Fulham, Millwall and Middlesbrough already this season, so it looks worth backing Cardiff on the handicap in this one. They are 6/4 to cover the (-1) line.

1pt Cardiff to beat Nottm' Forest on the handicap (-1) at 6/4
