League One - Best Bets

A quiet week with just a couple of small bets to keep us going in the League One. First off, we head to Doncaster, where Rovers are supported despite making our potential "non triers" list. Having won three and drawn three of their last six, they sit a healthy 8th on the 10-game form table, despite playing six of those away from home. Oxford - this week's visitors - are a less impressive 19th on the same table.

While the season is all but over for Doncaster, Oxford should be safe enough as well, and there is an argument that this won't be the game they are targetting too precisely. That will be Rochdale at home next weekend - where a win would secure their divisional security. With just two wins in 13, Oxford could find this one too tough, and we reckon Donny are worth supporting at 6/5.
1pt Doncaster to beat Oxford at 6/5 (General)
We also like...... Plymouth! The Pilgrims have collected 33pts from 15 games since the turn of the year - a record only bettered by Blackburn on a pts/game basis.
Plymouth are odds-against to beat Northamton, who by contrast have collected just 20pts from 17 matches in 2018, with a -9 goal difference. A 4-0 defeat was the Cobblers last home match (to Charlton), and before that they drew 1-1 with Shrewsbury, lost 3-0 to Rotherham, drew 0-0 with Oxford and lost 2-1 to Gillingham. It's not been the impregnable fortress they hoped at the start of the season, and Hasselbaink had won just 25% of his 44 matches in charge at the club before departing a fortnight ago.
With just one win in 11, Northampton are vulnerable here, and Plymouth look the shout at 5/4
