Here we have a true surface determiner. Australian Sam Stosur loves clay, and despite dropping to 90th in the World, shes still a formidable prospect on the surface.

Throughout her career, she has played 26% of her matches on clay, winning an excellent 65% of them. That compares nicely to Wickmayer, who has played 23% of her matches on the surface and won 61%.
Those figures absolutely fly though when you look at matches played against Top 100 players though - Stosur has played 32% of her Top 100 opponents on the surface, winning 63% of them, while Wickmayer's record is just 17% of her matches played on the surface against top flight opponents, winning a much more modest 48%.
Basically, you have one woman who rises to the occasion on the surface, and one who struggles to reproduce her best, so the market is right in making Stosur a decent favourite here. A 2-0 scoreline looks highly likely here - Stosur has won 17 of her last 19 wins on clay in straight sets, while Wickmayer has lost 16 of her last 20 defeats in straight sets on the surface.
3.3pts Stosur to win 2-0 at 10/11 (General)
