Yulia Putinseva may not be the best clay courter in the business, but she's definitely got the weapons to hurt an ineffective Jennifer Brady who has won just one of her 12 clay matches against Top 100 players over the past three season. In that run the American has won just 37.9% of receiving points and her return looks a serious vulnerability.

Putintseva has been limited herself, but the corresponding three year clay court record against Top 100 players is an altogther better 52% (13-12) and she has won almost exactly 50% of points over that run as well.

This is the first meeting between the pair in their careers, and the Russian should be shorter than the 4/6 currently available on the exchanges. She's played 33.4% of her matches on clay, winning 64% of them, while Brady has played just 26.8% of her matches on clay, winning 51%. When you consider that a lot of those came in juniors, futures or qualifying, you get a decent idea about how poor she is on the surface. This is a strong bet this one.

6pts Putintseva to beat Brady at 4/6
