Bellevarde looks to have a lot going for when she reappears at Lingfield following a corse and distance win last week, and a 3lb penalty looks more than workable in this one.

The layers rate Defining Moment as her most likely opponent for entry into the winners enclosure, but there are doubts in my mind about whether she can cover a 10lb rise, and about her general pace over this shortest of trips.
Bellevard is all about short bursts of speed, and it looks like anything over about 6f and she's all out of puff - in her career she has made the frame in 4 from 7 at 5f, but just 6 from 13 at longer, and both her wins have come over the shortest trip.
She should run another strong race from the front - something which Lingfield (albeit from a small sample) rewards massively. Of all the front-runner favoured sprints, this track stands out above all the others.
3pts Bellevarde to win the 7:40 at Lingfield at 5/2 (General)
