Belgium v Panama

This should be something of a miss match, as highlighted in our overall group preview. Panama come into the match with an extremely aging squad, having qualified from one of the simplest regions but with negative goal difference and then warmed up with a run of terrible results in friendlies. In short things dont look good.

Belgium by contrast represent the golden generation and the pressure will be on for their superstars to finally justify the expectations placed upon them. We covered enough in our group preview to lead us to first bet in this match which is to confidently predict Belgium run riot against Panama. Belgium are widely available at 7/4 to win the game by three goals or more that looks worth a small bet.
Of course if Belgium are to win this they may be dependent on Romelu Lukaku, whose record for Belgium is actually better than the 39 goals in 69 games that the official stats would record. More recently he has actually scored 25 goals in his last 27 games for Belgium and to bring it forward even more recently has 13 in his last nine appearances. The term flat track bully is going to be adapted and that is a good omen I had a place in Panama in his last nine appearances for Belgium here scored against Gibraltar, Greece, Cyprus, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Costa Rica. Hardly world beaters.
1pt Belgium (-2) to beat Panama at 7/4
3.3pts Lukaku to score at anytime at 8/11
1pt Lukaku to score a brace at 5/1 (Skybet priceboost)
