Spain v Iran

This looks a tough puzzle to work out. Iran of course qualified having barely scored a goal against some pretty inferior opponents in their Asian group, and it's hard to see them doing anything of note against a side as decent as Spain.

What we do know is they are likely to set up to make themselves as hard to beat as possible, and with three points already in the bank, they could well still be in the mix if they could nick a draw, or even escape with a narrow defeat. They therefore have to target a 0-0, with a chance of some sort of miricle to nick it 1-0.

With that in mind, we'll look to bet accordingly, and a 1-0 Spain win looks possible at 11/2 with Bet Stars. If Iran do perform the miricle, then a 1-0 isn't beyond the realms of the imagination - certainly not a 33/1 shot anyhow.

We'll also chuck a small dart at "Either Keeper to be Carded" at 5/1 with Sky Bet. Alireza Beiranvand keeps net for Iran and has found his way into the notebook twice in his last seven appearances. It doesn't take a big jump to see him wasting some time if the clock is moving on, so at 5/1 we'll try half a point.

1pt Spain to win 1-0 at 11/2 (Betstars)

0.5pts Iran to win 1-0 at 33/1 (Corals)

1pt Either Keeper Booked at 5/1 (Skybet)
