Poland v Colombia

Regardless of the outcome in the early match, the fact that both these sides lost their opening match means that nothing but a victory here is going to feel enough. Either they will start at kick off four points behind each of Senegal and Japan, or they will be three points and six points behind one or the other. A draw therefore doesn't suit anyone here, and while there might not be a gulf in class between the sides, a result one way or the other looks likely.

The longer this match goes on, the more likely goals become. Lets consider 60 minutes on the clock - a stalemate at that point should see both sides willing to throw caution to the wind and try to secure the break through. If one or other is ahead of course, we'll see their opponent's bringing on more direct and attacking players and potentially opening themselves up to the counter-attack.
With this in mind, we'll pass over the match winner market and taget a number of related markets.
Not least, I like the "half with most goals", which despite what bookies are doing to adjust their total goal and supremacy values, won't be reflected in how they price this market. 17 of the 29 games so far in this World Cup have seen the second half as the highest scoring half, and the odds of 11/10 in this one look hugely generous to me.
I also like the look of goals in general, with Over 2.5 Goals a great pick at 27/20 and Over 3.5 Goals at 3/1. Poland fans have actually seen 14 of their last 18 matches produce at least three goals, and nine of those had four or more.
Finally, if goals do flow, thats good news for Robert Lewandowski, who is just a genius in front of goal. He's scored 22 goals in his last 16 games for Poland, yet goes off odds-against to score in this one. Well worth a bet I'd say.
1pt Second Half Highest Scoring Half at 11/10 (General)
2pts Over 2.5 Goals at 27/20 (Betstars)
2pts Over 3.5 Goals at 7/2 (Exchanges)
2pts Robert Lewandowsku to score at Anytime at 13/18 (Unibet)
