Panama v Tunisia

If the opening couple of games are anything to go by, VAR might as well rule out passing the ball backwards, and insist on a scrum every five minutes. Both sides were so physical it was getting funny by the end of the first round of matches, and with pride at stake here, it could be a case of more of the same.

Both sides are going home, but they each have that opportunity now to win a World Cup match, and both should take it seriously as a result.

Scores on the doors so far for a start off:

Yellow Cards:

Tunisia -1

Panama - 8

Goals For

Tunisia - 3

Panama - 1

Goals Against

Tunisia - 7

Panama - 9

With the physical nature, a penalty could be another continuing trend - it's 7/4 in this one and both sides have conceded already, and Tunisia should certainly have had a couple given against them versus England.

The bookies make Tunisia their 13/10 favourites and it's pretty hard to argue with that. The draw is 14/5 and a Panama win is 7/2. It's probably a game which could go either way, but the Tunisians certainly looked the more organised and disciplined in the opening two games. We're also already well commited in the Panama stakes, having backed them antepost to finish rock bottom and score zero points, so we'll resist any other bets in this one.

1pt Penalty Awarded at 7/4
