Just two places split Gilles Simon and Matthew Ebden in the World Rankings, but it is the Australian Ebden who could well hold the advantage on a surface which suits him well. Ebden has a terrific grass record - winning 85 of his 125 career matches on the surface. He's a man who much prefers the zippy nature of SW19.

Gilles Simon has played at a high level over the years, but his 45-36 record isn't nearly as strong on the surface, and even accounting for the more frequent main draw entries, it still compares poorly when looking only at their performance on the surface against Top 100 players.
Ebden has won both previous meetings between the men - both on hard courts, most recently in Miami in March this year. You can still get 8/11 on Ebden in a few places.
2.2pts Ebden to beat Simon at 8/11
Juan Martin Del Potro was absolutely dominant against Feliciano Lopez on Thursday - no mean feat against such a good grass courter competitor, and the World No.4 should be well up for another strong win against Benoit Paire. Lopez won just 53% of his service points in that one - hardly a normal looking metric, and it says a lot about the form of Del Potro.
The Argentine reached the final of the French Open on clay, the Semi-Finals of Miami (hard) and won both Indian Wells and Acapulco (both hard), so has put together some decent results this season across a variety of courts.
Paire by contrast us a clay courter, who rarely opts to play quicker tournaments, and has not progressed past the second round in most events this year, and has a single quarter final appearance since the opening slam of the year in Melbourne. The (-6.5) handicap line looks really tempting here at 11/10 in my eyes.
2pts Del Potro (-6.5 games) to beat Paire at 11/10
