Scunthorpe v Barnsley
The Tykes have started the season in explosive fashion - 66 shots versus just 21 against, and their shot quality has matched the headline numbers. They look the team to watch this season on the basis of the early exchanges and should have little difficulty dispatching a weak Scunthorpe side in my view on Saturday.

They absolutely dominated Rochdale last time out, and probably deserved to beat AFC Wimbledon before that in a tight game. They also absolutely smashed Bradford in their 2-0 win at Valley Parade so have proved they are performing very well on the road.
Scunthorpe for their part have now shipped eight goals in two games - losing 3-0 to Sunderland and then 5-0 at home to Fleetwood - a record league win for the North-
Scunny isn't a long trip for Barnsley and they will be supported by a good travelling contingent. Back them to win at 8/11 is the advice in this one.
Plymouth v Peterborough
This bet is all about the overachievement thus far from Peterborough rather than any conviction that Plymouth will be capable of mounting a similar charge to that of 2017/18.
Peterborough have managed 42 shots on goal this season, and leaked 67 against - a ratio of just 38.5%. In terms of on-target efforts it's a much better 21-15 (58% ratio) but it's certainly not enough to warrant their 10-3 goals for-against record so far. Their win against Luton was certainly firmly in the "lady luck" camp, along with the three points they got against Bristol Rovers.
Plymouth are nothing special themselves, and will surely be looking at a bottom half finish this season, but odds bigger than 2/1 ahead of this match up look too big. Take the 28/13 (3.15) in this one.
AFC Wimbledon v Sunderland
Finally, AFC Wimbledon could be capable of a win at decent odds when they entertain Sunderland in this one. It's never an easy league for big sides to drop down into, and AFC have started the season in reasonable form - sitting in midtable, but arguably performing slightly better than that position suggests. They did enough to beat Walsall in midweek - a match they ended up losing and could certainly have improved on the share of the points they managed against Coventry.
At 13/5 they are worth chancing with home advantage in this one, and it looks more a case of Sunderland being a popular side in the accumulators affecting the odds here.
