Forest Green Rovers v Swindon Town
Forest Green have started the season in fine fettle, with a shot ratio of 61%, and the same figure for shots on target. It was helped of course by a strong showing against Grimsby on the opening day of the season, but they look a side well capable of finishing in the top half this season.

Swindon look less impressive, and lost a fair few players over the summer, so there has been a rebuilding project going on. It could take a while for those players to gel together, and a small bet on Forest Green looks value at 11/8 in this one. We'll also add to our antepost portfolio with a bet on Forest Green finishing in the top half at 5/4 given how well they have started the campaign.
Newport v Grimsby
Grimsby fans are buying into the Michael Jolley experience, and he certainly saved their bacon (eventually) last season after a slow start to his tenure, but Newport will still fancy their chances of winning this one on Saturday.
Newport have looked strong so far this campaign, winning a tight match against Notts County last time out, and dominating Crewe in their other home game. Away from home they deserved their point at Exeter, and could have got something at Mansfield despite losing 3-0 in that one on the opening day.
Grimsby lost 4-1 themselves that day at home to Forest Green before getting off the mark at Macclesfield in a slightly fortunate match for them.
At 11/10 with Blacktype they represent good value.
