Derby v Brentford

Frank Lampard became a father for a third time on Friday morning, but his Derby side might not be capable of adding to his joys come the weekend, when they face title favourites Brentford.

The Bees have started the season in excellent form - scoring 15 goals and conceding just seven at the other end. The 1-1 draw at Ipswich in midweek was probably a slight disappointment, and they have lost the shot-count just once in their opening eight matches.
Derby look vulnerable at home this season - being well beaten by Leeds on the opening day of the season, beating Ipswich slightly fortuitously and then putting in good shifts against both Preston and Blackburn. Three of those matches have come against sides who look set to struggle this season, so better was probably expected.
We're backing Brentford in this one at 11/8 with BetVictor.
1pt Brentford to beat Derby at 11/8
