Northampton v Notts County

Two sides who have started the season in terrible form - just eight points in the bag between them so far after eight games each.

Northampton have just two points from four home games, while Notts County have lost all four on the road, conceding 14 goals in those.

The Magpies have conceded a whopping 24 goals in eight games - an average of three per game. Reacting by sacking Kevin Nolan (who nearly took them up) and replacing him with Harry Kewell hardly seems like an answer, and we're backing Dean Austin's Northampton to get the better of them in this one.

The Cobblers have managed a not-too-shabby 107 shots so far this season - only Forest Green and Macclesfield have had more, and although they are clearly weak at the back, they do appear a better proposition than County.

They can be backed at odds-against in this one, and that has to be too long.
