League tables suggest that Oxford might find things hard when Walsall come to town on Saturday, but we are giving the home side a great chance of beginning to climb up the table.

Taking recent matches as evidence, let's start with Oxford. Their last outing was at Wycombe - winning the shot count 18-13 (9-4 on target) but coming away with a share of the points in a 0-0 draw. They were unconvincing against Coventry, but prior to that absolutely dominated Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, and won comfortably against Burton. Before that they deserved to beat Accrington in a match they lost.
Looking at Walsall, they were thrashed 4-1 by Doncaster last time out - a match which should probably have been closer. Before that they were second best against Barnsley. Ahead of that they were very poor against Blackpool - losing the shot count 12-4 and failing to register a shot on target, and were second best against against Rochdale and AFC Wimbledon despite winning both games.
That's all served to give us a decent 11/8 on Oxford in this one and they can beat the Saddlers.
1pt Oxford to beat Walsall at 11/8
