It's barely October, and already we are looking forward to a game which is being billed as the title decider! Man City are already into 8/11 for the title, with Liverpool available at 9/4. After that you are into double figures for anyone, so it's fair enough that this match is being seen as such an occasion.

Both sides have gone off at a million miles an hour, with 19 points a piece after seven matches, but it is City who have looked the more dangerous. They may include Kevin de Bruyne for this one, so his absence hasn't impacted the side at all and even if he doesn't play on Sunday, he is back in training and will be back on the pitch soon.
Expected Goals for the season suggest City could actually have scored more than the 21 they have already, and they just look ruthless this season. Players such as Mendy, Sterling, Aguero and Silva have all been at the very top of their games, while Sane has relished his return to the starting XI in recent weeks.
For all of Liverpool's quality, they still feel ever so slightly light-weight when placed man for man against Man City. Against anyone else of course, they look formidable, but City get the nod in this one at 15/8. Titles are won on fine margins against the top teams, and in their ten Premier League matches against the top sides last season, City achieved a 27-11 Goal Difference and won 24 points. Liverpool by contrast were 16-21 and won just 10 points.
1pt Man City to beat Liverpool at 15/8
