Only a couple of bets in League One, starting at Coventry, where the Sky Blues entertain Wycombe Wanderers.

Gareth Ainsworth has built an entertaining enough side over his tenure at Wycombe, with each of their last six matches seeing both sides score. In fact, it's 13 of their last 15 now overall and there have been 24 goals in their last six matches all told.

Coventry haven't been as loose, but even they have seen over 2.5 goals land in four of their last eight, so can play their part here. We're backing Over 2.5 goals at 5/4.

The other pick for Saturday is Oxford, who face Plymouth in a bottom of the table battle. This is a tough one, as Plymouth are coming out of a rough time in terms of injuries and suspensions, so their performance data may well under-estimate their current abilities.

However, Oxford are surely not as bad as results may have suggested, and an improvement looks highly likely for them as well. So far this season, Oxford have managed a positive 151-131 shot ratio (54%) which completely contradicts their 11-23 goals for and against, and suggests they have suffered more than their share of bad-luck so far this campaign. Compare that data to Plymouth who are 136-188 for a 42% ratio, and 46-67 in terms of on-target efforts, and you get the picture that they are nearer to their "fair" position in the table so far.

Oxford are odds-against for this one, and having matched Southend last time out, and fully deserving of a win over AFC Wimbledon recently, we have to side with them at those odds.
