There can be little doubt that the most impressive side in League One thus far has been Barnsley. Easy on the eye, attacking with freedom, yet organised enough to make things considerably difficult for their opponents. They are confident picks for the title therefore, and they can get their fifth away win in seven road trips when they visit an ordinary looking Charlton.

The Addicks have so far looked nothing of note, and another play-off campaign would be seen as well above expectations given all their off-field issues at the club. They have acheived 50% shot and shot-on-target ratio numbers - well behind the 68% and 72% enjoyed by Barnsley.

Wycombe and Scunthorpe meet this weekend - both sides could feasible be involved in relegation or promotions battles this season if the league table is to be believed, but we fancy that the latter might be the more likely to battle near the bottom.

Wycombe have achieved more shots than Scunthorpe, and fewer shots against (150-160 versus 147-203). They have also achieved more shots on target, and fewer against - (59-71 versus 54-78). Oh, and more corners, and fewer against. The performance metrics point strongly to Wycombe being the stronger of the two sides, and the odds-against prices this weekend make them a fair dabble to begin an improvement in results that they are surely due.

Finally, despite riding high in the division, Peterborough have now not won at home since mid August, and could be vulnerable against a free-scoring and together Accrington side.

John Coleman's side won promotion last season in fine fashion, and have handled the step up in class so far with consumate ease. They have now lost just once in 12, and have won five of their last matches, and look overpriced at 21/10 to strike a blow to a Peterborough side who we are convinced are significantly over achieving thus far.

We sided with Barnsley at London Road a couple of weeks ago as they ran out 4-0 winners, and although we aren't predicting that sort of rout, Accrington are capable of heading back up the A1 with all three points from this meeting.

Only Bradford have a worse shot-ratio than Peterborough this season (40%) whilst their shots-on-target ratio of 49% leaves plenty to be desired for a top team that the table would suggest they are.
