Monday Non-League

Nothing we fancy in the Monday European cards, but a team worth looking at could be Carshalton when they take on Hornchurch in the lower league action.

Carshalton are just four points better off in the table, but recent form suggests they should be the much more capable side. While Carshalton have been inconsistent - five wins, a draw and six defeats in their last 12, they have faced 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th place in their last 10 league games, so it's perhaps reasonable to have seen a little varience in their results.
Hornchurch are just a handful of points above the relegation zone, and their form is rather more concerning when you dig into it. They have won just twice in their last 14 (which goes back further if you overlook their victory over lower league Ramsgate in the Trophy). The two wins came against Harlow and Burgess Hill, who look potentially the two worst sides in the division - Burgess Hill are now -22 goal difference, and Harlow are on -24.
Carshalton should surely be odds-on here, so Marathon's 11/10 is worth backing.
1pt Carshalton to beat Hornchurch at 11/10 (Marathon)
