League One - Best Bets

Charlton head to Fleetwood today and the hosts must fancy their chances against a side who could be very short of goals after the sale of Karlan Grant to Huddersfield. Grant has fired in 14 goals in 25 starts for the Addicks this season and will be looking forward to testing himself in the Premier League, but he leave behind big boots for League One Chalrton who will also be without the suspended Lyle Taylor for another week. Taylor himself has 15 this season and those goals will be impossible for Charlton to replace - no-one else in the sqaud has more than five goals all season (all comps!).

While Charlton's form has been great (six wins in last 10) that pair have been firing them along and it's quite reasonable to ignore that form completely for this one.

Fleetwood have been a little hit and miss recently, but they look worth trusting here at 13/8. There is plenty of 8/5 or 6/4 which feels acceptable as well if Betfred's price goes.

We'll also chuck a point at Burton today in their match against Oxford, who look defensively suspect in the extreme. Taking out that League Cup double header against Manchester City, and Burton's form looks pretty solid - won three and drawn four of their last nine - with one of those defeats coming away to Luton.

Oxford have been struggling for results, and it's a concern given they have had a comparitively easy run. They have lost five of their last nine with those defeats coming against Southend, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth, Brentford and Bury, and they have now failed to keep a clean sheet since mid December.

At odds-against, Burton warrant a small stake this weekend.
