Very little to get stuck into this week, and we may well swerve a wide berth around World Cup Qualifiers and Friendlies.

Closer to home before then however is a National League North match which looks to have a little value in home favourites Spennymoor Town to beat Bradford PA.

Looking at their last 12, Spennymoor have posted a decent 8-2-2 run, of which one of the defeats was an away trip to Stockport (2nd in the division). They have mostly been getting the job done against sides in the bottom half of the table admittedly, but that’s more than can be said for Bradford Park Avenue.

Bradford PA have posted 4-4-4 in the same time frame, but their recent five match unbeaten run can be easily explained by the fact they have faced Aston United (21st), Leamington (16th), Curzon Ashton (13th) amongst others. In their last 14, nine have come against sides in the bottom 10.
