The season is largely over for both these clubs, but there is arguably far more at stake for Watford who could still qualify for Europe in one of two ways. Fulham are as good as down, even if the mathematicians are yet to cross the t's. Defeat in this one and the pens can come out, and that's exactly what we think will happen.

Such is the dominance of the big six, we sometimes find it hard to spot the extremes in quality behind them, but a ganders at the league table without them shows Watford chugging along very nicely indeed.

Against their peers, they have claimed a whopping 1.9pts per game. That title winning form in most divisions. Fulham on the other hand are collecting fewer than a point a game even when you remove those big sides. Goal difference wise, Watford are showing +13 against their more even peers, while Fulham are -16 after just 20 games.

With Fulham now having lost 12 of their last 13, they look seriously out-of-shape. They needed to score four goals to win that sole victory and have now conceded 2+ goals in 13 consecutive matches. Watford's form looks patchy, but take the top 6 sides out and they would be on a 15 match unbeaten spell - winning 10 and drawing five.

2pts Watford to beat Fulham at 8/11 (Betfred) - 7/10 acceptable when the price goes.
