Michael Smith v James Wade
The evening kicks off with James Wade and Michael Smith.

Wade has a superb 16-3 head to head record over Smith, and 8-0 over the past two seasons. There could barely be more between the pair in the Premier League as well, with Smith already eliminated after failing to win any of his last six matches, and going out with two game weeks still to play. He has just nine points.
James Wade needs to finish the season strongly - his 17 points represent an excellent return, and see him third in the table, but it's a massive battle for those 3rd and 4th spots between Wade, Suljovic, Gurney and Price.
At 11/10 Wade looks a great bet in this one, and I won't be shy here, and go straight in at three points on this one.
A bread-and-butter bet again this week on Bet Fred's 1st Three Darts markets, where Smith is on offer at 7/4 to score over 100 on his first visit, which remains great value - it should be shorter than 6/4.
Finally, on the stats, the 4/1 about the match winning double being D10 looks a touch on the long side with Coral's. It's probably closer to a 3/1 shot, so is worth chucking a point at.
3pts Wade to beat Smith at 11/10 (General)
2pts Smith to score over 100 1st Three Darts (BetFred)
1pt Last Leg Winning Double to be D10 at 4/1 (Coral)
Mensur Suljovic v Rob Cross
The pair have shared their 12 meetings 6-6 in the past, although Suljovic has had the edge over 2018/19, with six wins to Cross' two. It's a high pressure game for Mensur, as he needs to keep winning with Gurney and Price lined up behind him and playing each other. He really needs to win given he faces MvG in the final week of the regular season.

I can't really argue with the bookies appraisal of this one - they make Cross slightly odds-on and whilst I wouldn't back that, neither am I brave enough to back Suljovic at 9/4. Perhaps a dabble on the draw is the way forward in this one - there have been 17 draws in 65 matches this season.
1pt Suljovic and Cross to draw at 4/1 (Bet365/SpreadEx)
Daryl Gurney v Gerwyn Price
Gurney v Price is a real crunch match. The winner should be heavy favourite to reach the semi-finals, while the loser will face a mammoth task (if not impossible) come the final week - the bookies cannot split them and neither can we - the 19/5 on the draw has to be the bet in the Match Betting with Marathon.

There aren't any obvious angles on the 180s or winning check-outs against our database, so we'll move right on into the final match of the night.
1pt Gurney and Price to draw at 19/5 (Marathon)
Michael van Gerwen v Peter Wright
This match looks a walk in the park for MvG, but then again we thought that last week didn't we? Since MvG failed to turn up in Manchester, he's been over and won the Austrian Open, so we can probably put that down as a one-off and expect the Green Machine to turn up here. He's just 1/3 to win, which given Wright has failed to win in nine Premier League matches now is probably fair.

Bet Fred have trimmed MvG to open with a score over 100 from 6/4 to 11/8, but that is still value according to our data, so we'll add that into the equation again this week for our only bet in this match.
1pt MvG to score over 100 1st Three Darts at 11/8 (BetFred)
