Rafael Nadal arrives in Paris in terrific form, having just rattled off the Italian Open Masters Series event in Rome, beating Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas along the way.

Prior to that he reached the semi-finals in Madrid, Barcelona and Monte Carlo. Anyone who thought his invincibility on clay was at threat was put in their place with the Rome outcome.

Nadal is simply peerless here - an 86-2 record on the Paris courts which has yielded 11 titles in 14 years is nothing short of superfluous. At then he's been handed a near perfect draw which sees him avoid his only two realistic threats (Djokovic and Dominic Thiem).

Nadal has won a combined 113.9% of receiving and service points (adding together the two) over the past 52 weeks, which is formidable form, and he looks well worth backing at 19/20

Also worth a sniff is the "name the finalists" bet at 5/1 about Nadal facing Thiem in the final. With just one clay title in three years, Djokovic looks more than beatable, while Thiem has achieved two semi-finals and a final in his last three visits here - beaten by Nadal the last two seasons and Djokovic in 2016. It's time for revenge.

4pts Nadal to win the French Open at 19/20 (UniBet)

1pt Nadal/Thiem to meet in the final at 5/1 (Paddy Power)
