We bang on plenty about surface being so important in successful tennis betting, and few players have a bigger surface than Dominic Thiem, who is literally a demi-god on clay, but woefully inefficient away from his favourite red dirt.

Over the past 52 weeks he has won 66.3% of service points on clay, and 41% of receiving points (combined 107.4% - really elite stuff). Away from clay however, and he has posted just 66.5% of service points and 35.6% of receiving points (combined 102.1%). Decent, but not exceptional.
He has played just 32 grass games in his 580 game career - just 5.5% and only marginally comes out on top of those matches 17-15.
He takes on Sam Querrey - a man who has enjoyed a love-affair with Grass over the years, and has a 66-39 record on the surface, including being a losing finalist at Eastbourne last week, a Wimbledon semi-final in 2017, a losing finalist at Nottingham in 2015 and a Queen's title back in 2010.
The American's serve carries him through these sorts of encounters so frequently, and he absolutely has an upset within his ability here. We'll take him at 5/4.
1pt Sam Querrey to beat Dominic Thiem at 5/4 (General)
