Taylor Fritz looks the real deal on the ATP and I really think he has a chance to become part of the next generation when we finally see Federer and Nadal move over in the coming years. He also looks a great fit for Wimbledon and I'm convinced he could have a Grand Slam in him in the years ahead.

So far he has a decent 27-19 record on grass, but he's faced a few pieces of bad luck already. In 2018 he almost upset Alexander Zverev at Wimbledon - leading 2-1 before collapsing, while in 2017 he ran into John Isner in the 1st round. 2016 saw him give Stanislas Wawrinka a good game. Prior to that it was a Junior effort, where he reached the semi-finals, losing to Reilly Opelka. He also reached the semis in the Juniors in 2015.
More recently he comes into this event as the Eastbourne Champion, having beating both Kyle Edmund and Sam Querrey. He dropped just a single set en-route to the title, and then followed up with a straight set win over Tomas Berdych in the first round here.
Opponent Jan-Lennard Struff is just 14-21 on grass over his career. He did make the semi-finals in Stuttgart, but has exited in the first round here in four of the last five renewals. He's also a player who will almost always migrate towards the safety of the clay court given the chance.
He looks really vulnerable against a player who really is rising through the rankings quickly, and I would be a lot shorter than the 4/6 generally available on Fritz.
3pts Fritz to beat Struff at 4/6
