Blackburn v Charlton

It's an early trip north for Lee Bowyer's Charlton side, and the Addicks could find themselves out of their depth against the progressive Championship opponents.

Blackburn are surely one of the most settled sides in the Football League, with Tony Mowbray now one of the longest serving managers, and a board who are backing him to rebuild the club piece by piece.
It was a productive summer, as Mowbray kept the majority of last season's squad together and added strength in the likes of Christian Walton, Tosin Adaeabioyo, Bradley JOhnson and Stewart Downing. They look a little light of quality defensively, but should be a better side than last season and a top-half finish is surely achievable this season.
Charlton remain unsettled behind the scenes, but it didn't seem to affect them last season, so it's hard to hold that against them too much. They added Ben Amos, Tom Lockyer and Macauley Bonne over the summer, but this is a step up and Blackburn should be shorter than the 3/4 available with a few firms (and slightly longer on the exchanges)
2pts Blackburn to beat Charlton at 3/4 (General)
