Albion v Cove
Albion Rovers have enjoyed a mixed bag of results already this season. At their lowest, they were thrashed 6-0 by Dunfermline in the League Cup, but have also enjoyed notable wins of Edinburgh City and Stenhousmuir. Much more was expected when they faced Hearts Colts on Tuesday, but they went down 4-1 in that one and may now fear welcoming Cove Rangers.

Cove are looking like the real deal. They thrashed Raith 3-0, put five past Edinburgh and ran out comfortable 4-1 winners against St Johnstone U21s in midweek. Last week’s rout against Edinburgh was achieved against nine men, but they were already 3-0 up once things started to get easier so it would be lazy to suggest that was the significant factor.
With home advantage being relatively insignificant in League Two, we’ll take Cov to win this one at 8/11 with Bet Victor.
Edinburgh v Brechin
Edinburgh enjoyed a terrific season in 2018/19, but already the new season is beginning to feel like a slog. They have already lost four matches from five outings, and prepare for the visit of Brechin without their first choice keeper Calum Antell and Liam Henderson, who were both sent off against Cove. They have also scored just once in their opening five.
Brechin match those stats complete – lost four from five, and just one scored, so it’s hard to know how this one might play out. They battled well against Annan on Saturday though, so with selection difficulties it could be worth taking on Edinburgh this week. Brechin are 3/1 with Bet Victor
Outright View
The market fancied Cove to win the division over Edinburgh ahead of last week, but only marginally. The opening exchanges suggest that not only is that right, but it's likely Cove are not short enough in the outright market, so 11/10 has to be snapped up with Bet365 on them winning the title. Another few weeks and we might be lucky to get 1/2.
Recommended Bets

1pt Brechin to beat Edinburgh at 3/1
