Birmingham were winners at Brentford on the opening day of the season, but they were absolutely woeful in terms of performance levels. When it comes to the early season exchanges, I'd always prefer to see my team lose playing well than win playing poorly, and it was most definitely a case of the latter for Bluenoses.

They registered just a single "shot" on target against Brentford, which was actually a header from outside the area! They then followed up in midweek by losing 3-0 at Portsmouth, although they rotated a fair few players in that one in fairness.

Bristol City suffered defeat to Leeds at Ashton Gate on the opening day, and if the Asian lines are to be believed, Leeds are going to take some stopping this season, so that nothing to be unduly concerned about for Robins fans.

City are a solid progressive side who are well established at this level now, and they should probably be shorter than the 19/10 offered with a number of firms

2pts Bristol City to beat Birmingham at 19/10
