British player Cameron Norrie - ranked 60th in the world - tales on Frenchman Gregoire Barrere in the 1st round, and we reckon it could be a good day for British tennis, with our man running out comfortable winner in this one.

Barrere is ranked 109, but his two season record against Top 100 players leaves plenty to be desired.Overall he is 6-25 over the past two full seasons, and just 0-5 on Hard Courts, including a straight sets defeat to Norrie just three weeks ago on hard courts in Mexico. Norrie was 1/3 favourite that day over a best-of-three format. He should be a good deal shorter for this one.
Norrie is 38-40 against Top 100 players, and 26-18 on hard courts, so has proven his ability to contend. Whilst he isn't going to be troubling the top echelons of the game, he should win this one with something to spare.
1pt Norrie to beat Barrere 3-0 at 9/5 (Betfair Sportsbook)
