Bologna have been steadily improving year-on-year and you get the feeling this could be a real breakthrough season for the club after a solid start to 2019-20.

Fixtures have been kind so far, having met Pisa, Verona, Spal and Brescia, but they have won three and drawn once, while three of those four matches have come away from home.

xG has been really strong for Bologna (9.56 v 2.10) so their opening 6-4 goal difference under-metrics on how well they have played. They could go top with a win over Roma on Sunday.

The visitors have been steadily regressing as a side and ar certainly not the same side they were three or four years ago. They too are unbeaten, following draws with Genoa (h), Lazio (a) and a home win against Sassuolo. They also have the inconvenience of being involved in the Europa League which saw them take on Turkish side Basaksehir - a match they took pretty seriously with the majority of the standard first XI involved.

Bologna are 19/10 to win this one with SportingBet which is simply too long - especially given Roma will be without their front-man Cengiz Under.

1pt Bologna to beat Roma at 19/10
