Queens Park welcome Annan Athletic this week, with both sides looking to get back to winning ways after facing the impressive Edinburgh and Cove respectively. Queens Park are yet to win at home this season – a disappointing seven matches in front of their own fans without too much to cheer about. Granted, they have drawn five of those however, but the season needs a kick start nonetheless.

Annan have had a very similar sluggish start to the campaign – overall they are 2-5-6 in all comps (compared to 2-7-4 for Queens Park) and have failed to score in the last three.

Looking at the shot data at the eight-game mark, Queens Park are surely the more lilkely to kick on with a play-off challenge – shot counts of 88 (F) -57 (A) gives them a 61% ratio, with 57-29 on-target (55%). They should be a solid challenger on that performance metric and results thus far haven’t really delivered a fair reflection of their efforts.

Annan have posted 62-82 (43%) and on-target 25-34 (42%) and we are confidently predicting them to be second best here. Queens Park should be odds-on so the 11/8 with BetVictor is simply too long in this one.

2pts Queens Park to beat Annan at 11/8 (Bet Victor)
