Celta Vigo are currently showing bottom of the shot-ratio tables in La Liga - banking just 33% of shots in their matches, and 37% of on-target efforts. Attacking wise, no other team has created fewer efforts than the 47 Celta have generated, or fewer than the 19 on-target. It's left them 17th in the table on six points, and that's about right according to our shot data and the tables presented on Understat.com with the xG from their simulation models.

They host Athletico Bilbao this weekend who are 7th in La Liga and going along very nicely indeed. Their shot ratio by contrast is currently just north of 60%. While they have not been creating huge volumes of efforts (77 shots this season), they have been efficient defensively - limiting their opponents to 51 shots. Bilbao have lost just once in seven matches now, and no side has scored more than a single goal against them this season.

It doesn't bode well for Celta who have won just once this season so far, and have failed to score more than once in any game - coming up blank in three of them.

We're taking Bilbao to win at Celta in this one, at an attractive looking 23/10 with Sporting Odds.

2pts Athletico Bilbao to beat Celta Vigo at 23/10 (SportingOdds)
