One of the better sides in the division host one of the weakest this weekend as Sutton make the trip north to Barrow, and it could well pay to consider Barrow in your weekend staking plan.

After a poor opening to the season (just two wins in their first nine) they are now up to fifth in the table after eight wins from their last nine league matches.Dropping out of the FA Cup to Solihull during that spell might be seen as a blessing in disguise if a play-off push is to come into the new year. Their only other defeat recently came at a very decent Torquay outfit who are mounting a serious push at back-to-back promotions themselves.

No side is performing better on the shot data either - Barrow managing 58% of shots in their matches this season, and 57% in on-target efforts, improving to 61% recently and 65% respectively.

Sutton are no match on those numbers - carding 42% of shots in their matches so far this season and 45% of on-target efforts. Most recently they have been even worse and they have won just once in 15 now. This has home win all over it, and 8/11 is too long here.

The other match catching the eye this weekend is Wrexham v Bromley, with the hosts only just a little above the even money mark - a bold statement by the bookies about a team who have won just three times in 19 matches, with one of those coming against the St Mirren U20 side.

I'm absolutely prepared to accept they are a better side than 22nd best in the division, but they cannot be as short as they are against one of the sides who are setting the league alight - currently top, and posting shot numbers to fully support that form.

Bromley have achieved 53% of all shots in their matches, and 58% of shots-on-target, while that rise to 58% and 60% over their past six league games. Form wise they are 6-3-3 over their last 12 and have now scored in every match since the opening day of the season.

12/5 is available with a couple of firms (Bet365 and Bet Victor) which looks more than acceptable.
